About our Providence concrete company

Nobody thinks about concrete until it's bad, and then they think about it every single day. That's the trade I picked. I run Providence Concrete Company, pouring and finishing here in the city and out to Cranston, Pawtucket, Johnston, East Providence and North Providence.

I like this work more than is probably reasonable for a man with a bad back.

You know the driveway I mean. Cracked into islands, a lip at the apron the mail carrier has learned to step over, the gray gone blotchy from twenty winters of road salt.

It comes back as one flat sheet with a broom finish and saw joints cut straight, and the first real rain runs off it instead of sitting in that puddle by the garage door.

Smallest job I'll take is a set of front steps or a pad for a generator. Largest is a full tear out and repour, and in between it's footings, foundation walls, garage slabs, patios, sidewalks, curbs and stamped or exposed aggregate.

I'm not the cheapest number you'll hear, and that's deliberate. I dig to real subgrade and compact processed stone under the slab, I use fiber and rebar where the pour calls for it, and I cut control joints the same day rather than the next week.

I also handle sidewalk panels, dumpster pads and step repairs for landlords and property managers, phased so your tenants aren't climbing over plywood for a month.
